Pearl L. 'Peggy' Richardson, 86
LAWRENCEVILLE - Pearl L. "Peggy" Richardson, age 86, of Lawrenceville, passed away Friday, March 6, 2020 at Good Samaritan Hospital in Vincennes, Indiana.

She was born Jan. 25, 1934 in Lawrenceville, the daughter of Roy Everett and Marie (Cummins) Seed. She married Roy "Buster" Richardson in 1952. He passed away in 2017.

Peggy worked in housekeeping at the Lawrence County Memorial Hospital in Lawrenceville. She was a member of the Billett United Methodist Church and was an active member. She was an avid reader and loved her children and great grandchildren.

Preceding her in death were: her parents; two brothers, John and Everette "Buck"; five sisters, Bonnie, Jessie, Helen, Lottie and Mildred; and one granddaughter, Sonja Richardson.

Surviving are: three children, Terri Grumieaux and her husband Jeff of Vincennes, Indiana; Rick Richardson and his wife Sue of Palestine; and Deb Helderman and her husband Herman of Lawrenceville; a sister, Nancy Seitzinger of Lawrenceville; eight grandchildren, Kyle and Garrett Grumieaux; Chad Richardson; Christian Seaney; Jenna Cunningham and fiancé Andrew Hutchison; Paige Yochum and her husband Brant; Vanessa DeCoursey; and Jessica Newton; six great-grandchildren; and one great-grandchild on the way.

Graveside services will be conducted Tuesday March 10, 2020 at 11 a.m. at the Lawrenceville City Cemetery in Lawrenceville.

There is no visitation.

The family would prefer that memorial donations be given to the Billett United Methodist Church or to the Emmanuel United Methodist Church at 700 N. East Street, Olney, IL, 62450.
