Five boys' basketball players from Lawrence County were recognized for their accomplishments on the court this past season by being named to one of the All-Little Illini Conference teams, but only one garnered First Team honors.

A total of 24 players received All-LIC accolades, including 10 on the First Team.

One of those was Lawrenceville High School senior Blayne Winningham, who averaged 10.9 points, 7.2 rebounds, 2.1 assists, 1.5 steals and just under one blocked shot per contest while playing in all 28 games for the Indians this season.

Meanwhile, both county schools had a member of the five-player Second Team, with Lawrenceville being represented by senior Noah Weger and Red Hill represented by junior Drake Allen.

Weger played in 25 of 28 games for LHS this season, posting averages of 11.2 points, 5.6 rebounds, 2.1 assists and 1.4 steals per contest.

Allen played in all 31 games for the Salukis this season, averaging 12.4 points, 5.1 rebounds, 2.6 assists and one steal per contest.

Both schools were also represented with one member each on the Honorable Mention squad, with LHS senior Skyler Tewell and RHHS junior Camren Ray among the nine players on the team.

Tewell played in all 28 games for the Indians this season, averaging 8.6 points, 2.3 rebounds, 1.6 assists and 1.5 steals per contest.
