|Unit 20 offering hot lunches to students|

LAWRENCEVILLE - The Community Unit School District No. 20 will offer hot lunches to students at all grade levels during the unexpected closure of all schools in the state of Illinois due to the global pandemic regarding the COVID-19 virus.
Lunches will be available at various pick-up locations including: Parkside Elementary School, St. Francisville United Methodist Church, Russellville Church, Central Christian Church in Lawrenceville, the Casey's General Store bus stop, the Lincoln School bus stop, the bus stop at 12th and Wabash streets and the bus stop at Fourth and Jefferson streets.
Any student within the Unit 20 district is eligible to order a lunch. Parents/guardians are asked to call 943-2326 to sign-up for the service. Those who called in for sack lunches will need to call again for the hot lunch and to set a place of pick-up.
The menu at all Unit 20 schools is:
Monday, March 23 - Chicken patty on bun, oven potatoes, fruit and cake.
Tuesday, March 24 - Salisbury steak w/brown gravy, mashed potatoes and applesauce.
Wednesday, March 25 - Pepperoni pizza, carrots, apple and chips.
Thursday, March 26 - Chicken tenders, cheesy potatoes and fruit.
Friday, March 27 - Baked spaghetti, salad, fruit and garlic bread.
The Lawrence County Fish and Loaves program is also providing bags of non-perishable, single serve food items to all qualifying students.
