IHSA holding out hope spring sports will take place
As the days without sports continue to pile up, the Illinois High School Association continues to hold out hope that they can have some semblance of a season for spring sports.

However, as the battle against the COVID-19 pandemic wages on, hope is slowly fading.

IESA cancels spring sports
Yet another section of the sports landscape has been affected by the COVID-19 outbreak that is running rampant through the United States.

Following a teleconference Friday, the Illinois Elementary School Association (IESA) made the decision to cancel all remaining state series activities, which effectively brought the spring sports season to an end before it could even begin.
