| LHS Fine Arts Night |  | | Lawrenceville High School hosted Fine Arts Night Tuesday evening. Art features included the LHS band performing, paintings, ceramics and drawings (above). Heather Waller placed first for her drawing of a mermaid. Shyla Miner received second place for her sunset in the desert scene. Jared Craig placed third with his Batman drawing. LHS graduation will be held at 2 p.m. on Sunday in the gym. |

Midwest Musclecar Challenge coming
to Lawrence County
 | LAWRENCEVILLE - Lawrence County residents will soon have the opportunity to watch some of the top pro-touring cars from across the country battle in out in a three-segment event to see who will be the winner of the third annual Midwest Musclecar Challenge.
The Midwest Musclecar Challenge is scheduled for May 26 and 27 at Mid-American Air Center with cars competing in and Autocross Challenge, Road Course Challenge and Speed stop Squared.
The event will also include a cruise-in at the Lawrence County Courthouse square from 5:30-9 p.m. on May 26. The cruise-in is being hosted by the city of Lawrenceville and the Lawrence County Chamber of Commerce. Wednesday, May 16, 2012 |

| | Red Hill music benefits from Glee grant | BRIDGEPORT - The Red Hill Unit 10 music department has announced that they have been able to purchase music equipment from money won during the "Glee Give a Note" contest that resulted in a $25,000 grant to the school.
